"No life is worth living if we don't fight for it. A life without struggles is as good as being dead."

Few would really pay the price to fight for what's worth believing...or at least, for what they used to believe in. Do we really surrender to failure, do we succumb to the impossible? Is it already something so in-built amongst us? It becomes so instinctive, almost so natural...to work on rational basis these days. A society, like the one I situate in, has become so performance-oriented; the people hardly knows what's worth fighting for these days already. We just follow the flow, no one dares to deviate from the mainstream and fight to achieve for what their heart tells them. Or have our hearts turned cold, have we become so apathetic these days? I wonder why.

Cynics won't describe me as a passionate individual, they label me stubborn- one who tries to make things different for no better resultable cause. Like how I used to say, why are we doing things logically these days instead of working on a more reasonable level?

Maybe it's all airy-fairy mere rhetoric.

But I still insist we fight for the spirit, not the outcome.

And that's how I feel my life is once again, meaningful. At least I dictate my life, how about yours?

God, can't believe I have been sleeping for the past twelve hours. Like I've been tranquilized or something.

Course at Kranji has ended and we are moving back. I am granted two days' off, but darn, Jeremy just called to tell me I have to book in again tomorrow for some formation relay run training. Shucks.

Going out for some good shopping later, can't possibly coop myself at home today. Byeeeee.

Sun doing well in the States

I know it's hard to conceive Sun these days when she's hardly herself in those funny cover do-ups. Anyway, there's news that she's coming up with her sixth English single with Wyclef Jean. Really looking forward to her new "China Wine". I know there are many skeptics out there who ain't supportive of her.

To be honest, neither do I.

I just like the fact that she's &#@! rich and produces good music with her amateurish voice. Cheers if you are thinking what I am thinking!

Anyway you nubes should really go to her website and listen to her English singles. Quite surreal and uplifting the music, NOT THE VOICE I say again. Funny why I share a love-hate relationship towards her. (if only she'd articulate better, I'd learn to love her better.)

Yeah. Heavenly indulgence at Haagen Daz, we shared this waffle dream - a delightful baked waffle with tea and choc & chips icecream scoops plus strawberries. I am becoming more of a glutton...so much so that my manifestations made me declare my renewed puberty period since last week. Haha. So true. I can eat up a mountain these days.

Yays. My course is finally at its last week. I'll be having a more relaxed working schedule after this course especially with the inclusion of three new instructors. Hahaha, funny that my trainees have to become my fellow instructors.

So most of the instructors have come to a good consensus that this course is wholly fucked up and there is little we can do to make it better. Who would have believed it's a 10-week advance specs course (goodness gracious!)? I wish the best for my trainees who will be posting out to various units coming this week nevertheless.

So long to a disastrous month I have been having. It's back to the same o' wacky Eddie you used to know.
